A Powerful Adventure That Grips the Soul

This story was written to beckon the adventurer in all of us.

But Mammoth isn’t for the faint of heart. The first book in the series, Brian not only launches readers into a wild adventure in the Pacific Northwest, but he also plunges readers into a cavern of gripping emotional turmoil with his characters.

Mammoth is a story about lighthearted teen characters who discover that their town–along with some of the prominent people who run it, is full of secrets that weren’t supposed to be discovered. The story centers around five misfits called the “Jailbirds,” and their connection to an archaeological discovery that didn’t go as planned.

As the characters are thrust into the mystery that plagues Mammoth’s history, they also must learn to overcome their own turbulent pasts in order to uncover the truth. Tommy, Maya, Jude, Mars, and Lydia may not have heroes to rely on as each of them confronts truly difficult circumstances, but they do have each other. But the question is: Is it enough?

Their ability to triumph over the evil that has plagued their town will ultimately depend on their trust for one another, and the risks they must take to achieve answers–and retribution.

Standing Against the Darkness

You see it every day. The people you work with, interact with at the grocery store, church, or on the road. Empty. Discouraged. Defeated.

If you were to stop and ask them, they might tell you it’s something they are going through–a family issue, some financial concerns, cancer. But like you, they know it goes deeper than that. There’s something wrong with the world today.

Never. Lose. Hope.

If you were like me, reading a book about Hell wasn’t the first on the TBR list. It might haven’t been ever on there, in fact, had I not forced myself to take a peek.
