Meet Jeannie Wilson, a Vital Member of the Descendant Tribe

We are honored to introduce Jeannie Wilson to our readers, a vital member of our Descendant Publishing tribe of contractors. As part of our team, Jeannie has participated in the rigorous editing process of the Descendants of Light Series, including The Watcher Key and The Watcher Tower. It is not easy, nor is it a quick process to edit a book. For that, we are so grateful to have her working with us! So without further ado, here is a bit about Jeannie!

Jeannie Wilson is the owner and editor at Upward Editorial (www.upwardeditorial.com). She founded Upward Editorial based on Philippians 3:13-14: ā€œBut one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.ā€ She is passionate about supporting writers in fulfilling their upward call.Ā Jeannie has over ten years of education and experience in editing, writing, and teaching English. While she works full time as a grant writer and editor in higher education, she also loves to edit fiction and non-fiction works, especially when they point readers to God.

Jeannie lives in Gilbert, Arizona. She has been married for nearly ten years to her husband, Stefan, a Bible teacher and former youth pastor who loves the gym and hunting. She is a proud mom of two kiddos – Abigail (almost 8) and Caleb (6), who often remind her of the simple joys in life. In her free time, she loves doing anything outdoors, especially hiking and hunting.

If you were to stop and ask them, they might tell you it’s something they are going through–a family issue, some financial concerns, cancer. But like you, they know it goes deeper than that. There’s something wrong with the world today.
