Writing Update March 2025

Cover of the book by Troy Hooker called "Demon Tide"

 THE TIME HAS COME!

After two years in the making, Demon Tide will be released on March 18! After months of editing, rewriting, and finalizing details on interior and cover elements, it’s over. What’s finished is finished.

I think you’ll LOVE it.

I have to say a quick thank you to everyone involved: my beta readers for the shenanigans, my editors for making me sound good, JCaleb Design for the cover, my wife for the interior design, JJ Johnson for the endorsement, and finally my Kickstarter backers; you ALL played a role in making this happen. I am so thankful to be just one part of an amazing team!

I’m already working on book two, Demon Tide: Celestial Wars. It’s already available for preorder HERE.

And one last HUGE request. Please leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads for Demon Tide after you read it! It goes a long way in helping the series become a success!

If you’re looking for a design spoiler for Demon Tide Book One, I’m itching to give you one! Thanks to my wife’s awesome formatting skills, you get to see it first! (Below)

With that, I’m signing off:)

Don’t forget to be a Light in the darkness!

Standing Against the Darkness

You see it every day. The people you work with, interact with at the grocery store, church, or on the road. Empty. Discouraged. Defeated.

If you were to stop and ask them, they might tell you it’s something they are going through–a family issue, some financial concerns, cancer. But like you, they know it goes deeper than that. There’s something wrong with the world today.

Never. Lose. Hope.

If you were like me, reading a book about Hell wasn’t the first on the TBR list. It might haven’t been ever on there, in fact, had I not forced myself to take a peek.
